Mechanic Friendly Floor

Helicopter Specialties, Inc. Introduces: the first Modular Aircraft Floor that is truly mechanic friendly for the EC135 and EC145 aircraft.

We were motivated to design and build this floor after many years of maintaining EMS helicopters. Our new floors’ access panels can be removed within minutes to gain access to the aircraft without pulling the whole floor. Reducing AOG time to hours instead of days.

	Bell 407 Custom Medical Interior The Need: Design and install a custom medical interior for a Bell 407. The Solution: This custom Med Kit includes a baggage-mounted gaseous oxygen system, rear bulkhead-mounted medical equipment panel, a medical equipment shelf and a headrest modification to allow stretcher loading. Our Med Kit design has already proven itself with installations in three Bell 407's.
	Stryker Stretcher with Custom Designed Isolette The Need: Hospitals need to transport their tiniest patients safely in EMS helicopters. The Solution: We designed a platform that mounts an Isolette and related life support systems to a Stryker Stretcher. We work closely with NICU personnel to custom-design a system that works the way they do.
	Custom-Made EMS Medwall with IV Warmer The Need: A well-designed interior layout in an EMS helicopter is critical to the mission. This EMS helicopter needed a better way to utilize space for equipment. The Solution: We designed a compact medical wall that combined provisions for: IV Warmer, Oxygen, Air, Vacuum, Medical A/C, Drawer Storage, ProPaq Monitor & AM/FM/CD.
	Custom Floor Latch Mounts for Stryker Stretcher The Need: The popular Stryker Stretcher needs to be latched down for use in an EMS helicopter. The Solution: A quick release latching mechanism that securely locks the rugged stretcher to the aircraft floor.
